Butch's Old Casino Steak House   

I hear people rave about Butch's all the time, so I finally had to go there for a steak. This place in no way lives up to the hype. The first this we saw when we enter the store was this tacky meat case with cryovaked steaks. Your Pick N Save meat case looks nicer. The steaks were bland and boring. They came severely undercooked, and had to be sent back twice. You would think that a place that specializes in steak would at least know how to cook one. The baked potato tasted like it had been around for a while, but received a new one when we sent back our steaks. We overheard a woman next to us ask if her lobster was supposed to look like that to her husband, and could see it was undercooked also. I don't mind paying $40 for a good cut of meat that is cooked correctly, but this place is not the place. There as so many better steakhouses within the area to go to. Save your time and money for somewhere else.

A terrible place. I ordered pork chops and got them RARE...I asked them to be cooked some more and got a stare from the waitress... Then they came back red again. I asked again and then the waitress treated me like I was a serial killer and argued with me about whether those red sections on my meat were in fact my imagination. In the meantime my family had been served and nearly finished their mediocre and quite standard steaks. Finally after a 20 minute wait I received a properly cooked set of chops-- they were cooked but basically tasteless. When I received them the waitress began to talk to another employee and pointed me out as a troublemaker. The pork chop was tasteless like the steaks. Better to Cook out at home.
