Located on the emerging Milwaukee St in downtown Milwaukee. Carnevor offers dining at its best in a chic and contemporary setting. Restaurant Hospitality and Design showcased Carnevor's design in 2006 along with 19 other projects from around the world. Carnevor also won "Best New Restaurant in 2006" in several publications including OnMilwaukee.com, Shepherd Express and Dennis Ghetto's Best New Restaurants from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Aside from being Milwaukee's Premier Prime Steakhouse, Carnevor boasts over 400 selections of wine and in 2008 was awarded an Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator. Carnevor has the very best steaks in all of Wisconsin. The seafood is fabulous too! It's so nice to go to a steakhouse that isn't uptight and stuffy. They play great music, the servers are dressed chic. Everyone is friendly and knowledgable. I can't wait to go back!

the ambience was upbeat and fun and the service was friendly and proffesional. Our server was Teral and she was the best
Go for the Japanese Kobe if you can afford the price otherwise the other steaks are great as well. I would definitely reccomend this place to other people
