Harp Irish Pub   

A must-stop on the Water Street pub crawl, The Harp has been a favorite with fun-seeking locals for years. Located on the east bank of the winding Milwaukee River, across from Third Street Pier and Gus' Mexican Cantina, this pub's main attraction is the large wood deck that comes off the west side of the building and out over the water. In the warmer months, seats on the deck are hot commodities; there's really no better place to enjoy a Bloody Mary or a black and tan as you watch the parade of impressive boats cruise up and down the waterway. Popular with the college crowd, weekend nights prove the most crowded. So if you're not up for shoulder to shoulder schmoozing, you might want to seek refuge somewhere else. Open year round, The Harp also serves traditional pub food. Not especially known for their cuisine, menu options include burgers, sandwiches and other deep-fried specialties.
