Rate and Write a Review It's difficult to find a place in Milwaukee more authentically Irish than Paddy's. Cozy and intimate, this quaint pub on the East Side has become a popular spot to enjoy a pint and lively conversation among friends. Paddy's two bars offer Guinness, Harp and other brews on tap, as well as an array of Irish whiskeys, scotches and other libations. Divided into three adjoining rooms, the dark wood interior, soft lighting, leaded glass windows and charming murals make for a casual and downright neighborly atmosphere. Most every night, the gracious couple that owns the pub greets thirsty travelers with a warm smile and handshake, many times stopping by your table to check if you need a refill. Old black and white movies are sometimes projected onto the wall, giving the tavern a more romantic and nostalgic feel. Popular on weekend nights, it can be hard to find a table, so best to get there early if you want to snag one of the coveted spots next to the fireplace.
