Rosie's Water Work   

Rosie's Waterworks features the comforts of a corner bar in the middle of the Water Street scene. The bar is dimly lit and -- if the patio isn't open -- often cramped, but Rosie's offers some respite from the intense party atmosphere of nearby bars. In the summer, with torches lit, the fun at Rosie's spills outside, where you can carouse with college students or bikers in town for the latest rally. Listen to piped in music play while enjoying the scant few months of sunshine in Milwaukee. Rosie's offers food from 11:30AM until 10PM, including an excellent selection of grilled food including hamburgers or chicken. Monday's happy hour lasts all night, and unlike some area bars, Rosie's has friendly staff and customers. This Water Street institution has weathered the changes around it, and has become a destination for many Milwaukee residents.
