Buca Di Beppo   

Family-style spaghetti, chicken cacciatori with garlic mashed potatoes, and chicken parmesan are only a few of the offerings at this kitschy southern Italian restaurant. You can dine among the stars at Buca, since almost every inch of wall space is covered with pictures of famous Italians (most notably Frank Sinatra and Sophia Loren). Everything is big at Buca, making it a perfect place for large groups. The food is served on platters so large it's often difficult to find enough room on your table. Patrons don't order wine by the glass here, it's by the liter; if you polish off one of their three-liter bottles of Chianti, you've got a mighty big candle holder to take home. Be sure to save room for a giant bowl of tiramisu for dessert. Kids love this laid-back place, as well. -- Carrie Norbin
