La Fuente Restaurant   

Walk through the heavy wooden door of this popular Mexican eatery, and experience the excitement and energy that make La Fuente one of Walker's Point's most beloved restaurants. Bright pink stucco walls, colorful Mexican artwork and festive mariachi music puts you in that vacation frame of mind. Add to that one lip-smacking margarita, and you might never want to leave. Welcoming guests with a carefree atmosphere, the real draw is the menu. Featuring an array of Mexican favorites like enchiladas, tacos, burritos, chimichangas, tamales and tostadas, La Fuente also specializes in more authentic dishes like caldo de camaron (shrimp soup with onions, tomatoes, avocado and cilantro), chili relleno (mild poblano pepper stuffed with fresh cheese with ranchero sauce), milanesa (breaded steak served with guacamole) and camaron a la diabla (shrimp cooked in a hot red sauce). Though always crowded, waits are surprisingly short -- which might be the only drawback to this popular destination, since servers are quick to rush you through your meal. -- Rachael Liska
