Rate and Write a Review Looking for a place to go after the bars? One of the few restaurants on the East Side that's open twenty-four hours, Ma Fischer's is a favorite for those looking for a cup of coffee while they sober up after a night at the bars. Breakfast is served anytime at this family-style Greek-American diner, so if you have a hankering for eggs benedict or french toast at 2AM, this is the place to go. Ma Fischer's is also a popular spot for Sunday brunch -- you will often find large crowds and long waits, so bring the newspaper with you.

Ma Fisher's has the best split pea soup, hands down!! Also a breakfast that's not only satisfying; great tasting.
Tops with me
I am a undergrad student just starting my 3rd year at UWM. I have spent the better part of 3 years on the east side of Milwaukee and I have yet to find a better breakfast spot. I also happen to be a amature bodybuilder and so my diet is super clean all week long. I find Ma Fischer to be the perfect Sunday morning cheat meal of crepes or pancakes. They are to die for! Plus as a college student I am always looking to keep the money in my wallet and I can do just that here.
Health Dept Violations
We wont go there anymore because of it's problems with the Milwaukee Health Department. They are the 8th worst restaurantin the number of health violations in the city according to Milwaukee Magazine. I just don't know if the violations are resolved.
Good Food
The food is hot, fresh, home cooked even late after a night on the town. The people are friendly. I am actually looking forward to going back there.
