The slogan is "You've Hit Rock Bottom," but one step into this lively brewery and you'll know that's not meant literally. Dressed in warm woods, rich earth tones and brass accents, it's a bar and eatery ripe with casual sophistication. And with close to 30 locations in 15 different states, it makes perfect sense that this microbrewery thought Brew City would be an appropriate site to set up shop. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, Rock Bottom features three bars, a large dining room and one of the best Riverwalk patios in the city. The restaurant features a pleasing American food menu of appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, burgers and sandwiches. Popular choices include the Asiago cheese dip with homemade beer bread, smoked chicken enchiladas, smoked salmon fish and chips, and the brown ale chicken with white cheddar mashed potatoes. But make no mistake, this is a brewery and the main attraction is, of course, the beer. Choose from pints of Greenfield American Light, Honey Creek Pale Ale, Raccoon Red, Brown Bear Brown, Stillwater Stout or the seasonal Specialty Brew. -- Rachael Liska
