Sammy's Taste of Chicago   

There have been very few places in the Milwaukee area that have mastered the simple hot dog and evevated it to an art form, but Sammy's has done just that! Unlike many other establishments, Sammy's has found the best blend of relish, onions, tomatos, and a slice of what has to be the best kosher dill pickles in the area for their Chicago dogs, both regular and jumbo. Other places have tried, and on occasion hit the mark, but it's the consistant excellence that puts Sammy's a cut above all it this area. The Italian Beef sandwich is excellent as well, served with the perfect level of cooking, not dry, but not so moist as to detract from the quality of the roll it's served on. Other gourmet touches is the Sprecher root beer served at their locations, not your run-of the mill soda, but one with a flavor that compliments the meal, completing it beyond question, along with the celery salt at each table for a added touch found nowhere else. Along with the after 4PM specials if you bring in your reciept, and the Sunday special, Sammy's is the one place you don't want to miss, and a great place to take friends and let then that Chicago isn't the only place that knows how to do right by the lowly hot dog!
