Located only one mile from Miller Park, family-run Barbiere's has been a hometown staple with Milwaukeeans since 1963. Serving Italian comfort food and some of the best pizza around, founder Sal Barbiere has created a cozy and friendly atmosphere for friends and family to gather for generations to come. Homemade creations include pizza, sandwiches, lasagna, meatballs and garlic bread. Start dinner off with a glass of Chianti and an antipasto salad accompanied by a generous serving of garlic bread, or take comfort in a bowl of hot minestrone. Follow up with an order of the chicken tetrazzini served in Barbiere's popular meat sauce (so popular, you can order some to go) or opt for the spaghetti with homemade meatballs, mushrooms and sauce. Three different sizes of Barbiere's acclaimed pie: 10 inches, 12 inches and 14 inches --made with your choice of fresh toppings are also available. Finish your Italian dining experience with a cup of strong coffee and an order of spumoni ice cream or tiramisu. -- Rachael Liska

I've been going to Barbiere's for over 35 years and still find it hard to beat! Get the garlic bread.

Mmmmm

I grew up in Wauwatosa and every time I visit my family, Barbiere's is on my list of "have to do". They have the best bread sticks, the best pizza and salads. Their spagetti and meatballs (huge) are awesome. I haven't found another restaurant that measures up. My family already is planning to go for my next visit in 10 days.
