Highly acclaimed local restaurateur Joe Bartolotta is the visionary behind this amazing Parisian-style bistro tucked away on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan in beautiful Fredrick Law Olmstead designed Lake Park. James Beard?s 2007 Best Chef Mid-West Adam Siegel?s cuisine ranges from traditional French (êntrecote de b½uf, soupe a l?oignon), modern twists (½uf mollet, canard ?deux façon?) and the ever changing ?Menu du Chef.? The location, view, stellar food, and honest Midwestern hospitality combine to create an unforgettable meal worthy of a trip to Milwaukee?s East Side. We invite you to join us for lunch, dinner, special events, and Sunday brunch.

not all that
By dabolt4 on 02/23/2007
Quite disappointed after a recent visit. They claimed our reservation was not in the book, even though it was made on Open Table and confirmed. Food just okay and the help was very snippy-won't go back.

Great Place on a Great Lake
By nikamy on 09/15/2005
Salmon is out of this world. Excellent Food, generally great service, but once had an incredibly crabby and rude waitress that I think warrants mention. We're pretty reserved, so we went along and said nothing, but she ruined our evening - fyi, she is older and has long grey hair. But the place is great and quite consistent; we've eaten here for years. Sit by a window if you can.

Good but not the best
By cbessa on 07/11/2005
Their food is good, and the view is spectacular but this restaurant in not in the same class as Sanford...also, when we were there the bartender was snippy and refused to make a margarita. Our letter to the owner got no response...even though he says he always responds to complaints.
