At first, the thought of an Italian Restaurant in a tiny strip mall in upscale Fox Point may seem a bit odd. But the reputation the Calderone Club has earned over the years is testimony to the outstanding menu selections. The small dining room definitely is not the most intimate in town, but it is family-friendly, and the restaurant's menu has a wide selection of dishes. Select from pork chops, steak, chicken, veal and shrimp, ranging in price from $10 to $25. Every Friday there is a Fish Fry. There are also specialty pasta dishes, including Create Your Own Pasta. Pizza is another favorite, and everything can be enjoyed outside on the deck during the spring and summer. The lunch menu includes several soups, sandwiches and appetizers. -- Matthew J. Koller
