As a local, I frequent this establishment on a semi regular basis. I have to say that the food is very good, (I recently heard that they are revamping their menu and wine list) the prices are reasonable and the service is great. I also enjoy their live entertainment. This happening, hip hangout turns into a night club after 10pm and it is always very busy. The decor is absolutely beautiful too. Dancing, live entertainment, good food and service make this a place you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it!  More Reviews

This restaurant is a great place to dine! They have friendly servers, and probably the best food in Monterey. Expect to get your food fast, and expect almost no wait, even on the weekends. My favorite part of this restaurant is that it is right on the ocean, and has floor to ceiling windows that allow you to see the whole bay. I highly reccommend Gilberts!!  More Reviews
