As a local I give the M.D. an "ok" rating. The music in the back patio is pretty good but the food is often too greasy. There are better places to go in Monterey and Alvarado Street

This is a fun place love the environment.

The people who have criticised this place are off the mark. The drinks are great, the food is great and the people who work there are real nice. I have seen some great music there also, I saw Alligator and the Bayou Boogie and Dick Montana and the Cruzin Duces there, both were great bands and out on the patio they have gas heaters and a big fire pit. What more do you want. The person who riped this place probably got fired from working there and is trying to get back at them with negative info. That is just one person, go try it for yourself. Happy Hour is great and live music makes it better.

Food is horrible, music sux, head waiter is rude, and owners are unresponsive. There is 100 better places to go on the Monterey Penninsula. Don't waste your money here.
