Dabbo's Prime Steak & Seafood   

Dabbo's and Dabbo's Too are a really nice restaurant and bar (smoking is permitted in the bar, and it is not awful for non-smokers). The bar has good martinis, some fancy, and an OK wine list. The food is really great, and you can eat in the bar as well as the restaurant. The steaks are excellent, especially the T-Bone, and the tilapia is very good, and they have the best crab claws in town. Great service.

They advertise "steaks and seafood" and the steaks are really great, but the seafood is fabulous. Grouper Parmesan is delicious, the tuna is cooked to order, but the best thing is the Shrimp and Crabmeat, served on cheese grits. Dabbo's is a little hard to find at first, but is right off the intersection of Vaughn and Bell, and is well worth the effort. Excellent service at dinnertime; lunch is reasonably priced and more casual. (Make a reservation if you go on Friday night.) They have a nice martini bar in the same building that has live music on Wednesdays and most weekends. Nice, classy place.
