You probably wouldn't expect to find a groovy lounge in a Ramada Inn basement, but the Broken Spoke isn't exactly your average hangout. A saloon-style bar in front contains a long, narrow bar that points to a stage where country music acts perform most nights of the week. A traditional bar menu of burgers, sandwiches and fried appetizers is available, along with a selection of domestic beers and a variety of liquors. The club hosts weekly songwriters' nights, talent shows and contests where local performers can try out their latest material. (The Broken Spoke helped Tim McGraw get his start, and now he's a part-owner of the place.) Additionally, you can grab a casual meal and watch some sports at The Broken Spoke Sports Grill, located towards the back of the building. -- Heather Johnson

A great laid back country saloon. Good for couples and singles..music is great, I'll give it a 10, good to dance too. (for those of you who remember that phrase.)
