Bluegrass plays as it should be. This is what you will find at the Bluegrass Inn, a friendly, authentic, lower-Broadway dive. As a matter of fact, the folks here are so friendly they'll welcome you into the bar as you walk by. Don't be intimidated. Go in for a drink. Chances are you will hear an extremely entertaining, talented and up-and- coming picker. (Try to catch Buddy Goines.) It's one of the best times on Broadway. So much so that you're sure to forget you only came in for one drink, and you will be surprised that this place wasn't even on your itinerary in the first place. -- Rebecca Malone Melo

Bluegrass???

There's hardly ever any real Bluegrass Music in the Bluegrass Inn. This place has the same expensive drink prices as the legendary country joints that surround this place, but lacks on musical talent and atmosphere, and the "bluegrass" is no more than bluegrassified country. Go to the Station Inn if you want to hear Bluegrass Music.

The last two times I've been to Nashville I made a special trip down to the Bluegrass Inn. The music's great and so are all the people you meet in there. If you don't check it out, you're really missing something.
