For over 175 years, Joy's Flowers has been helping people with their floral needs. Arrangements for lovers are just one of the specialties here, albeit one of the most important. Joy's has welcomed generations of babies into the world, and their expertise has helped express condolences, as well as congratulations. Their flowers have accompanied brides down the aisle and helped patch up little squabbles. Over the years, the little building on West End has become a Nashville icon; a well-deserved title brought on by a staff who'll work with you and refrain from laughing when you ask them to send a cactus as a wedding gift to an ex -- though they might suggest a peace lily as more appropriate. But in the end you'll be pleased with them. They didn't get to be Nashville's oldest florist by being prickly.
