This Lower Broadway dive ranks among Nashville's best tourist attractions with a surprising twist. Robert's features the epitome of the Nashville dream: Brazilbilly. It's Jesse Lee Jones, the new owner who croons old-timer's country (he does Johnny Cash better than Johnny) with a little Brazilian country (forro) thrown in. Watch out when Nashville Brazilians come to support one of their own. On regular nights, clientele consists of Gen X and Yuppies dancing on the miniscule dance floor, white-haired tourists munching diner-style burgers, and tattooed, toothless locals sucking bottles of Bud. Even if you're not a country fan, Robert's is the place to people watch. If you don't make it home, stop by as early as 7am for breakfast and more live music. -- Rebecca Malone Melo

Best Music in Town
By mixtcompany on 04/22/2005
The best music in town is heard at Robert's. The burgers are hot and fresh cooked, the fries are crisp! This is the cleanest place to enjoy yourself on Lower Broadway! No matter what time of day or what day of the week I go to Robert's, I find the music, food, and fun I'm looking for. Guaranteed every time!

A fan of real country music

The house of traditional country music. Robert's is home to great burgers, boots, beer, and booze. It stands at the shadow of the mother church of country music, The Ryman Auditorium. A terrific honky tonk experience where one may feel right back in the good old days of great country music. Nice people, and a lot of fun! It's hillbilly hollywood at it's best!

My favorite! I've been going to Robert's for 6 years. Don't forget; BR5-49 got their start there. The great music continues. Brazilbilly is hot! Jesse does a great Marty Robbins too. The beer is relatively cheap and the view from upstairs ain't bad. Have fun!
