This bar is the exact opposite of the stuffy bars you'll find in the area -- no vintage wines or appetizers you can't pronounce, and no people with stiffly sprayed hair. They used to have a writer's night there which was great - you never knew who might show up - occasionally townes van zandt would pop in. great place back in the day!
