Gold Rush   

Nashville and Elliston Place just wouldnt be the same without the Gold Rush. If the walls could talk, they would certainly entertain us for a long, long time with college-student and musician stories. Not much has changed in all the years its been around, except theyve reupholstered the booths and the upstairs isnt part of the bar anymore. The bar hasnt lost its rugged charm and it continues to attract students and the younger West End crowd. Theres one pool table in the place and a great area to mingle and drink with fellow-partyers. The two-for-one well drink happy hour is lengthy, 2:30 to 7pm, but so far no one has complained. - Rebecca Malone Melo
