Gaylord Opryland (formerly the Opryland Hotel) is by far one of the largest and most unique hotels in the country. Adjacent to the massive hotel boasting 2,884 rooms and 200 suites lies a conservatory with acres of indoor tropical gardens. There's also The Delta, a 4.5-acre garden and river, where guests can take a quick riverboat tour, as well as an abundance of bars, restaurants, meeting centers and a Sunday brunch that's out of this world. The rooms are equipped with most standard items (hair dryer, iron, room service, etc.), but also offer audio-visual services, teleconferencing, and much more. Guests also have access to a Kinko's, a fitness center, and many other services and attractions. They'll even plan your wedding, your vacation or help organize your next business meeting.

My son and I have stayed at the hotel twice and enjoyed it very much both times. It was nice to be able to wander around the atrium and spend the time together. The rooms are not nearly as nice as you would expect them to be for the price, I think they need to update them. The Raddison is across the road and we will be staying there next time because of the rooms here not being worth the price. The rest of it is great and we enjoyed being there for the fountains and gardens.

The resort itself is beautiful. All Gardens, Water Falls, Fountains are magnificient. Your guest rooms on the other hand are a disgrace!!! They are similiar to a cheap motel. Smell musty - not cleaned properly and I was staying in a guest room with a rate of $270.00 per night. I guess I was paying to keep your grounds in good shape/appearance not my room that's for sure. I was there 4 days beginning on Feb.14, 2003
