Gaylord Opryland (formerly the Opryland Hotel) is by far one of the largest and most unique hotels in the country. Adjacent to the massive hotel boasting 2,884 rooms and 200 suites lies a conservatory with acres of indoor tropical gardens. There's also The Delta, a 4.5-acre garden and river, where guests can take a quick riverboat tour, as well as an abundance of bars, restaurants, meeting centers and a Sunday brunch that's out of this world. The rooms are equipped with most standard items (hair dryer, iron, room service, etc.), but also offer audio-visual services, teleconferencing, and much more. Guests also have access to a Kinko's, a fitness center, and many other services and attractions. They'll even plan your wedding, your vacation or help organize your next business meeting.

our experience was good and the christmas theme was a fantasy to enjoy. But it was a shock to be charged $18.00 each for a round trip shuttle to the hotel-this is free at other lodgings in our experience. It seemed that every guest we spoke to had a complaint re: room assignment, the shuttle charges, employees that didn't speak English. We never saw a "green badge" employee to ask directions, etc. -we had to ask shop workers .From the general attitudes of the people we talked with , there will be no return business on their part. After awhile we didn't talk to anyone as so many were having a bad experience. Gaylord best get with it!
