Midtown Cafe   

My wife and I have gone through two owners, and it is still our favorite. It is expensive, but excellent. The ceaser salad is the best in the city, as are the crab cakes. Their veal saltimboca is super. Expect the owner to stop by the table to chat.

The signature artichoke/lemon soup is incredible. Also, it's fun to watch and listen to the Music Row bigshots talk about the industry.

Lived in Nashville years ago, came back to Midtown for dinner and was still satisfied with romantic, cozy atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable female server, and the BEST pasta dish we've had. Scallops, lobster, creamy pasta in a bowl. We travel monthly, all over the country, this was THE best. Have neighbors in Nashville this week. They called last night and have eaten at Midtown TWICE in the past seven nights...........................too good to pass up.
