Located on world-famous Bourbon Street, the Old Opera House epitomizes the New Orleans music club scene. There is always a crowd inside listening to the lively sounds from the stage. It is not uncommon to see that a crowd has gathered outside the club as well, listening to the music and dancing in the streets. You are guaranteed a good time when you come to this place. Live entertainment is featured nightly. The drinks can be a bit pricey, but the music more than makes up for it.

By FAR the best joint
Old Opera House is the best place on Bourbon. Spend the bulk of my prime partying hours there. Bands are excellent as is the help there. Very friendly and accommodating.
Cannot wait to get back to NOLA!
WOW this place rocks
Awesome - The most fun I ever experienced with live music. Nearly every passer by started to dance in the middle of the street when the music got in thier ears. Great Time. -Mardi Gras 2007
Differtnt from the other
Bourbon St. venues because of the consistently outstanding bands that play there. Friendly wait staff. Be there for 3 for 1 happy hour.
