Attention meal-smart shoppers, Crazy Johnnie's offers one of the hottest deals around: prime cut filet mignon with 'crazy potatoes' (new potatoes boiled, smashed and mixed with butter, parsley and seasonings) for a mere $11.95. Seafood and daily specials offer variety; diners can also opt for etouffees, grilled tuna, barbecue shrimp or prime rib. A fine wine list complements the lot. Ambience is casual and upbeat. Lighting is clubby and subdued, following classic steakhouse form. Emphatically kid friendly, the entire family is welcome here; however, you can count on contending with a wait or a crowd when you dine -- it's rarely 'johnny on the spot' when it comes to being seated right away. But, once seated, service is snappy; the ongoing hustle and bustle make for rollicking fun. -- Michaela Morrissey

Absolute worst food and service we have ever been subjected to. If this is good food I am a purple Smurf ! Please someone call the health inspector - this place should be condemned.

Rude wait staff...medicore food...and I just could not get over the $1.75 charge for refills on iced tea.
