Just off I-10 on North Causeway stands a gray plaster building designed with Cabildo-type arched windows. This Ramada boasts a courtyard in the French Quarter style, which is accentuated by two bubbling, old-fashioned fountains near a crystal-clear swimming pool. The rooms are clean and well furnished with either two double beds or one king, cable TV, a wet bar and a small vanity and private bath. A complementary breakfast awaits guests every morning in the main lobby area. Fill up on cold cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, frozen waffles and fresh fruit. A tray of cookies is a common feature in the lobby during the evening hours. Stop by early because those little treats don't last long. The hotel, which has a weight room as well as a cocktail lounge, is close to area shops and restaurants. Amie Leavitt

We loved it!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and nice the room was. I love the way the doors of the rooms are all on the inside facing each other. We found the room to be nice and quiet and check-out was extremely easy. It really was a great experience. We had rented another room at a "famous hotel" not far from the Ramada the other hotel was extremely disappointing and more expensive. We wanted to go back to the Ramada.

Poor Customer Services

When I book reservations, I was informed of a cancellation fee of $24 if I cancelled by 4p of the day reservation was booked. When I called in to cancel the reservation, I had to make three phone calls just to speak to someone. Then I was told I would have to pay for the 1/day of the reservation and informed that the policy was in my confirmation e-mail which I never received and no one could say why. To me, that is a sign of what I could have expected if the I had not cancelled the reservation. Believe me when I say! I will never! do business with them on any level and as as a results, nor will I refer any more of my clients. Three-stars? Igive them no stars.
