St Charles Tavern   

Looked like a cool place so we decided to try it. The food was not good at all. It was cold and of poor quality. The waitress complained about another couple not leaving a tip which made us feel self-concious when we left a tip. We still thought the atmosphere was cool though.

On 10/3/02 my friend was fond dead in the bathroom if you have any info. please comment

This evening, 4/13/2002, my boyfriend and I ate at this tavern. I ordered the Lafayette burger and found a long strand of blond hair(at least 5 inches long)underneath the bun. The waitress saw me pull the hair from under the burger which was also topped with crawfish etouffe. I have short, thick black hair. She then proceeded to ask me if it was my hair, DUH!! I was then told that because I had eaten most of the food, they could not do anything about it. She also told me that the person who cooked the burger had no hair. Where did it come from? I did see a skinny guy with hair down his back toting a bucket of ice behind the bar without having his hair pulled back.....Who knows??? The bathroom is horrible, too.
