Bon Ton
For thirty plus years of visiting New Orleans this remains our favorite place to eat ! Never have been disappointed in food or service. Have been greeted by owner which is always a plus. They have the best bread pudding I have ever tried. Would rather eat there than any of the other fine eateries in the city!!
Exceeded Expectations
This is a Mon-Fri only place just on the outskirts of the F Quarter.
I went there for lunch late of a Friday and the place was slammed.
I was immediately greeted and seated.
Flo was deligthful.
She was helpful with menu explnations and was very attentative.
My compantion had the sauteed osyters &
I had the gumbo & jambalaya. Both were excellent. The gumbo was filled with fresh shrimp, sausage, tomatoes and okra. I had a difficult time deciding between the shrimp & crawfish jambalaya. Flo offered to split them !
I was not disappointed.
It was the most different jambalya I have had but was quite good. They were both very fresh and were more sauteed over a bed of rice than cooked and mixed like most other Jambalya
recipes.

The food is old-fashioned Cajun, hearty and tasty. Recommended.
