ESPN Zone, the block-wide sports bar in Times Square, is becoming just as favored for its game room as it is for its big-screen TVs and comprehensive national sports coverage. Enter the world beyond air hockey and foosball to indulge in any sports fantasy you've ever had. You can score on a power play in 'NHL 2 Night,' throw that crucial touchdown pass to a moving receiver when you play 'Sunday NFL Countdown' or shoot hoops at the basketball nets. Super high-tech video games let you kayak in the winter and ski in the summer, or play golf on a rainy day. If you like a little trash talk with your athletics, 'ESPN Bowling' comes with hecklers who only shut up when you roll a perfect strike. Kids are welcome here, as are those who are kids at heart. And for the latter, there's the gigantic 19th Hole, where you can grab a beer and wings and relax in front of 16-foot video walls featuring non-stop live sports coverage. -- Ashley Lederer

Food okay......service BAAAAD
By jasonpup on 07/23/2006
Had to wait longer then we should have for a table, considering that the place was empty. When we finally got a server to our table (fifteen minutes later) she was curt and impatient with us. We ordered quickly, but were served excruiciating slowly, with our drinks arriving finally, but after our food. We ordered beers, and I am certain they do not take 20 minutes to pour. The place empty, making the service entirely unacceptable. The games upstairs are old and outdated, very dissapointing for a gigantic enterprise like ESPN. I am surprised they allow their name on this establishment...it was a horrific experience.
