Rate and Write a Review Some call it an Irish version of the 21 Club because Irish power wielders come here to wheel and deal. And while they do, they may knock back some of the hearty fare here that's actually resoundingly American: steaks, chops, beef, lamb stews and salmon.

great piece of vontage Sutton
Amazing place, great service and terrific simple food. A true example of Sutton... And I am under 50...
Great Service
What More Can I Say.
Great Restaurant & Bar
Well to beign with you walk through the front doors and there you have the Owner Jimmy Neary greeting you as if he knew you for years. Very Interesting story of how Jimmy came about starting that place in the 1950's. At the Bar they pour you a heavy drink (I prefer Johnnie Walker Black), which is always nice. The Menu has a nice variety. Plenty of appetizers ranging from about $6 & up. The French Onion soup was excellent for $5.95. The Entrees range from $16.95 - $28.95. I learned about Nearys through this web site. I needed to find a last minute restaurant on the East side Midtown to meet friends. It was true ...the Lamb Chops are Excellent. Nice Portion, and I like to eat! Desserts $5.95. Don't forget to have the Irish Coffee...Mmmm. Nice Decor, dimly lit, quiet atomsphere, but not too stuffy. Very nice place for either just drinks or food. Great restaurnat and bar, not too many around like this anymore.

Excellent atmosphere and food to match. The type of place I had been looking for.
