Rate and Write a Review At $225 and up for the simplest of its rooms, the beautifully renovated Belvedere Hotel may not be the least expensive hotel in the Broadway theater district, but it is among the loveliest. Its gorgeous jewel-toned lobby -- gleaming new, yet with a retro look and feel -- boasts an elegant business center, cafe and restaurant. The hotel's 400 boutique-style guest rooms and suites offer traditional, understated design with all sorts of tasteful extras. Each room comes complete with an entertainment center with Pay-Per-View movies, Web TV and Nintendo, although with all the Broadway shows at your doorstep, it's hard to imagine you'll need them. All of the accommodations are also equipped with a kitchenette, including a microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. But seeing as New York's famous Restaurant Row is only two blocks away, chances are you won't need those, either. -- Amy Reiter
