Cafe Iguana   

This place has a real stylish look to it, with its waterfall and nice color scheme. The food is delicious and I am about to get going in an hour or so for a new years eve dinner before going out to celebrate the end of 2005!

In answering to Slow, Slow, Slow, I didn't have that experience. In fact, I had a great experience. I went in without a reservation and I was given the best service ever! The decor was comfortable and the service was great! The prices was affordable. Not cheap and not too expensive. Your typical average NYC prices. No complaints! I have been there before for many dinners and the DJ was great! I didn't have any problems. But should there be a problem, ALWAYS complain to the manager. Believe me, that works!

Iguana is a great place to go and have drinks with your friends after work, but to eat? God forbit!! I was there 3 days ago, hostess asked if a had reservation- even though there were like 10 free tables- and when I answer "no" she said- "I will give you a table, but only if you order serious dinner, no appetizers of any kind"- how rude!! On top of that me and my friends had to wait 15 min for a waiter to come and take our order. Then additional 30 min for food and 10 min for check. But that's not the end of this nightmare, when we went downstairs and asked DJ for a request ( It was our friend's last day of work) - moran refuses. He says " Only if you pay me"!!! When did it happened ?? Was I sleeping for past 100 years??? Now it's not enough that you pay to get in and pay for your drink, now you have to pay a DJ too?????
