Cleopatra's Needle Restaurant   

The food is mediocre, the waitstaff clueless, the checks are always wrong, coffee cost $2.50, with no refills ($5 for 2 -4 oz. cups of cold bad coffee) AND there is a $10 minimum per person!! I have been there 3 times, and the last was the worst. The $15 appetizer platter is 1/4 c. cheap Hummus, 2 olives, 2 stuffed grape leaves from the can, and a stale pita. The stuffed mushrooms were OK, but they were cold. Pastas are very expensive, and they looked skimpy and didn't look good. Wine starts ar $8 a glass for Gallo. ??? Music is good, but they will make you pay $10 for sitting there, if you just come for the music. Give it a skip, I say.

Middle Eastern food, all American music - pure Jazz; at more than reasonable prices. An all around fabulous experience

Best jazz deal in town.

I had a great time here. The musicians were phenomenal & the atmosphere was laid back. The only thing I would change is the fact that the sound system wasn't working very good. Other than that- this is a nice place to go and relax, while listening to some smooth sounds.
