If you're looking to renovate or decorate your home with a one-stop shopping trip, this should be your stop. You can find it all here, from doorknobs to linens, furniture to lightbulbs, Kohler faucets to stainless steel appliances -- basically the proverbial kitchen sink. Gracious Homes is often packed with throngs of renovation-happy new co-op owners. The haphazard decor -- lamps covering the ceiling in one room, and doorbells and light switches wallpapering another one -- will do nothing to alleviate your claustrophobia. Plus, many of the items can be bought more cheaply at Home Depot or a local hardware store. The salespeople are very helpful and easy-to-find, in spite of the crowds, and the selection and range of goods is incredible.
