Annisa is a small fine dining establishment in the West Village. The restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Anita Lo and her partner Jennifer Scism. Anita is a winner of Food & Wine Magazine's 2001 Best New Chef Award. The restaurant was included in the Zagat 2009 Top 50 Food Ratings. Annisa was awarded by the 2009 Michelin Guide a coveted one star. The restaurant serves contemporary American cuisine with Asian accents. The restaurant boasts a beautiful and soothing dining room where guests are served by knowledgeable and friendly staff.

worth the trip
my partner and i took a ride from philly to new york to meet our good friend.we took her to dinner here.we had tried to get here before but no luck.we own a restaurant in philly so we know how hard this business is.but annisa makes you know its all worth it.the food was highest quality and very original without being pretentious.the waiter we had was one of the best i've come across.he took so much time with us and all our questions and you could see he was not a salesperson.he really tdid like the food he talked about.service was just so great and so was food.will definetly go back.
EXCELLENT All Around
From the waitstaff to the food. All was great. And ordering was easy/the food was tasty & fresh. It is great for a date or a spontaneous walk-by. It is great to go to a place where the chef is actually cooking.
