A hidden treasure on the Lower East Side, Apizz cooks up Italian food in a stunning -- and huge -- wood-burning oven. The dining room is intimate and cozy, rustic yet modern, and perfect for first dates or dining with friends. Like its d?cor, the menu at ?pizz is a blend of old and new. The menu consists of updated versions of Italian classics like Wild Boar Lasagna and Open Ravioli with Butternut Squash, as well as Oven-Roasted Whole Fish and a braised short rib gnocchi.

Bring your significant other. whoever he or she may be. This place is surrounded with Romance Charm and exceptional Real italian dishes. I have not eaten like this since i was in the small town of Angri, Naples Italy. The warmth of the wood burning oven sends an awsome scent of italian dishes that makes your nose ask you, "What is that wonderful smell, I need to order that"....we loved it! I fell in love twice that night. For the first time with Apizz, and the second time with my wife.
