A Pie to Die For
Where is the best pizza in NY? You've heard everyones opinion. Grimaldi's. Lombardi's. Patsy's. John's. Ray's. Di Fara's in Midwood Brooklyn. Oh there are some great ones here, whether you need a slice or a whole pie. But Arturo's ranks right up there with the best of them. Head to this quintessential Italian spot on the cusp of the West Village and Soho. The interior looks like so many Italian restaurants you've seen in the past both in your mind and in real life. Think red checkered table cloths wood floors and the piano at the entrance. The pasta dishes are good, but it's the pizza that is Arturo's bread and butter. The place gets crowded, especially on weekend nights with all the B and T'ers who frequent the Village and Soho. But if you don't mind sitting shoulder to shoulder with twentysomethings from Jersey, you'll get yourself a pie you'll remember for a long long time. Enjoy it, pizza this good is hard to find, even in the greatest pizza city this side of Naples.
the best pizza period.
i started going there as a kid and now i take my daughter there. its awsome!!!
