BLT Steak's design integrates select traditional elements of the French "Bistro" and an American "Steakhouse". A lighter environment has been created that is enhanced by the richness of Macassar Ebony tables and matching suede. A 23-foot zinc bar greets diners with an excellent array of libations for pre- or post- dining pleasure. Thoughtful artwork in the form of photographs is hung throughout the bar and dining room, which speak to the history of fine food as experienced by Chef Laurent Tourondel.

Loved it!
BLT was recommended by our Concierge at Hotel 57. They accomodated us with very short notice. My husband ( a cattle rancher) was in heaven! They had me with the popovers...Loved the touch of giving the recipe with the presentation. Arriving home in Montana, I ordered giant popover pans to recreate the delicious treats. We would make a trip back next time we are in the city. Great steaks, great wine & great service!
Not for this money...
While the food is fine and service OK, there are better choices for the money. Any one of a dozen steakhouses in mid-town Manhattan are as good or better at prices 10 - 25% lower.
overrated
way to expensive service was fair at best had to put my own steak on plate from serving hot plate ridiculous at those prices
