Crab Shanty One   

I am telling the truth! Joe Valenti is my grandpa! I am Bianca Valenti. His granddaughter. Joe Valenti's sons are Michael Valenti a.k.a. my dad, Joseph Valenti:nickname: JoJo, and Johnny Valenti. My cousins are Carmine and John Eric. Carmine is JoJo's son. John Eric is Johnny's son. Crab Shanty is a good resteraunt.

My husband and friends was celebrating our anniversary with friends it was already late, but insure it was no problem. We were encouraged to come in soon after, we was rushed to complete our meal by the waiters. I did not even eat my lobster. So I thought they put it a doggie bag to find out the next day all I took home was some lettuce.

I am writing regarding something that happened to my friends and I over the weekend. A good friends birthday dinner was planned for saturday evening. Her sister made a reservation at "The Crab Shanty" on City Island for 20 people at 7:30 saturday evening. Also, in order to make a reservation for 20, they required a $100 deposit in person (which was given). When we arrived, the table was not set, nor did they start to set up a table. At 8:30 we were informed that we would not be seated for at least another 45 minutes. At this point (all of us starved), our friends sister was so upset and not sure what to do. We ended up calling another restaurant on City Island called "JP'S" who not only took us, had the table set up within the 10 minutes it took us to get there, but also rushed appetizers knowing how hungry we were. I am sending this note in hopes that some of your readers learn from our mistakes and choose "JP'S" over "The Crab Shanty" for their next meal on City Island. "The Crab Shanty" lost a 20 person party on saturday night and 20 customers for life. Thanks for your time, Amy

I truly enjoyed my experience at The Crab Shanty. The atmosphere is quite cozy.The meal was very enjoyable. I will definitely make a return trip.
