Ess-A-Bagel's little secret. A counterman at the East Side (50s) branch mentioned that the bagels only had seeds on one side--the boss's way of saving a penny here and there.

I am perfectly ok with an H&H bagel, but to rank them above Ess-a-bagel? Seriously? Is AOL's editor on crack? These bagels are the best in the world.

Bake city Bagels in Brooklyn are by far and away the best bagels you can get in the new yourk city area. The place is a gold mine. Their coffee is the best in the city bar none. Don't believe the top ten list its all bullshit.

Ess-A-Bagel IS THE BAGEL! I can't believe that people still think that H & H is better than E-A-B. I'm a native NYer & we know our bagels, why don't you? The Everything Bagel with Vegetable Tofu is what I live for. I take 3 buses from Brooklyn just to eat there. Go, run, get yourself a real bagel! :)
