Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $75.00 per person.

Shameful
By TITLEMAN55 on 01/01/2009
Used to be regulars & stopped going, due to negative reviews we had heard. Returned last week, after three-four years. What was once a fine, perfectly authentic Italian gem, has crashed to the bottom. We have never witnessed so drastic a change in a restaurant. Terribly disappointed. Tasteless, overcooked, overpriced food, brought out cold. Sent food back four times. Had to ask for silverware, bread (twice), butter ...even had to send our drinks back 3 times.

THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD & PIZZA ON THIS SIDE OF THE ATLANTIC
By Elenaaunt on 07/25/2008
If you want truly the best brick oven pizza on this side of the atlantic.. you need to go to Brooklyn. IL COLLESEO, 18th Avenue,. BUONISSIMMOOOOOO. It's almost like a little hideout.. Nothing fancy, looks like a regular trattoria in Italy. The taste is nothing more than phenomenal. This is where you will see a true pizzaiolo from Italy and waiters of the same. The menu is not big, but is scrumptuos. Try the tiramisu..homemade and delectable. You will not go away hungry or disappointed. The kitchen is open and the restaurant is so immaculate that they even have a draw to put all the crumbs in when they cut Italian bread. If it was a little more fancier I would have had my wedding there. HOPE YOU GET TO GO AND BUON APPETITO.

DISAPPOINTED AND OVERRATED!!!!!!!
By FranAcc155 on 07/25/2008
I was very disappointed to say the least. The food was not what I expected! I was served something that was sitting in the refrigerator for a ittle too long, and it had a terrible taste. In addition, the portions were small and way overpriced! It seems this Lidia, who come from Italy's border with Yugoslavia, seems to serve more Yugoslavian food mixed with North Italian and isn't serving pure italian cuisine at its finest. TRUST ME, I am pure Italian, and this doesn't cut it. What kind of Italian is named Bastianich? Which tells you something. The place is popular because of her affiliation with food network chef Mario batali. She is NEVER THERE so don't expect a 'Momma" type of trattoria. TINY PORTIONS AT OVERPRICED EXPENSIVE PRICES ! Not worth it. This Lidia B. owner, is more interested in doing TV shows and riding off the fame of Mario Batali (who only became famous because of that food network). I was so upset with dinner, I wrote Lidia in which she responded by saying, the next time you go, ask for _________ and he will take care of you. She was so cheap, she didn't even offer a free meal or desert. A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT and I WILL NEVER RETURN! Not even for her so called, 'offer.' which was a joke. With all the fantastic Italian restaurants in NYC, I'd pass on this one. Buona appetito e buona fortuna.
