The SceneThree wood-lined dining rooms sprawl for what seems like half a block, festooned with black-and-white photos of former sports legends, chandeliers made with thick logs and a wonderful old mahogany bar populated by an assortment of well-dressed patrons, tourists and young steak-loving guys. Diners are served by tuxedoed captains and waiters. The FoodThe star of this classic American steakhouse menu is the 28-day aged beef, which is exceptionally tender and full-flavored--you can see the aging-wood locker as you walk in. Go for the generous sirloin or the porterhouse, both grilled over hickory. Double rib lamb chops are superior as well. If for some reason you arrive craving seafood, grilled swordfish is light and satisfying. The supporting cast includes steak fries, creamed spinach, tasty hash browns and strawberry shortcake.

Don't Waste Your Money
By MacBuff98 on 12/28/2008
The steak was good. The chicken was horrible. The service was non-existent! Just remember folks, TIPS stands for "To Insure Prompt Service". Since the waiter ignored us, we ignored the Tip!!! Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.

Worst service ever!
By ASuvanich on 12/28/2008
My fiance and I went to Gallagher's Steak House Saturday 12/27/08 to celebrate my birthday in what we thought was supposed to be an elegant restaurant. We could not have been more wrong. Our waiter was a man who appeared to be in his late 80's and didn't even look at us as we placed our order and seemed to be in a hurry so much so that he practically walked away before we finished placing our order. The food arrived and I immediately noticed that one of the side dishes was completely burnt. I told him and he shot me a nasty look and took the plate away without a word and left me wondering if he was going to replace it, he did but practically threw it on the table and disappeared before I was able to tell him that the roasted chicken I ordered was dry as a bone and completely tasteless. After eating what we could of our less than appetizing meal we sat there for about 40 minutes and were completely ignored, while we watched as the table next to us that arrived ten minutes after us was on dessert and then given their check. Finally I walked up to the managers desk and told him that my fiance and I had been ignored for over 40 minutes and were about to be late for our show (I also mentioned that the food was disgusting). I barely got an apology and was told that the waiter would be there shortly with our check. About 5 minutes later a different waiter arrived asking if we wanted pie! Finally the waiter arrived with our check and we paid but made it a point not to leave a penny for a tip as he didn't deserve it. I will never go back there.

Prime Prime

Watch the beef in the window as it ages...and ages...and then treat yourself to as fine a Prime Rib dinner as there is. Attentive to a fault, traditional atmosphere and above all, beautifully aged Prime Rib. If you're a beef lover, you're in heaven.
