There are many special dishes at this Chinatown perennial. The Salt Baked Soft Shell Crab is their signature. Not a hint of oil, the meat and green goodness fresh and luscious. The Wonton Soup has hand made shrimp dumplings in a divine fish broth-- great for colds, especially zinged with some chili oil. The Bar B Que is terrific. Best are the Pig and the Duck. Try Ginger Oil with your selection and add a taste you haen't known before. The Chicken and Chinese Sausage Casserole is divine, with huge dried mushrooms and a tantalizing gravy-- it arrives at table sizzling and savory. A personal preference is the Squid with Sour Cabbage over White Rice. De-lish. Simple choices like Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage is great, as is the Rice with Chive-- a house specialty. To find a restaurant where one has never had a bad dish is a true reward for the New Yorker. This is that place.
