Not only for the Zen-conscious, people of all sorts are getting into yet another Asian fad -- bubble tea. Also known as tapioca tea, this drink is a sugary futuristic spin of tea, milk and giant tapioca pearls that cause a bloopy sensation as they're sucked from a clear plastic cup or fountain glass and through a jumbo straw. And though some people find the tapioca repelling (you can get it without the pearls), others go ga-ga for their space-age texture. The drink itself also comes in countless flavors, and green tea Cafe has loads to choose from like peanut and sesame. But if you're still a bit wary, ease yourself into it all by ordering up some pork dumplings or friend sweet potatoes, and before you know it, you'll be right in the spirit of things with the other smiling sipping faces around you. -- Amanda Dorato
