I'M A NATIVE NEW YORKER OF ITALIAN DECENT.MY GRANDMOTHER AND MOTHER WOULD HAVE LOVED THIS RESTAURANT. GO AND ENJOY.
Don't waste your money
The waiter sat us at a table where the ceiling leaked. We were moved after 10 mins with no apology.Food was decent, but extremely overpriced.
We retuen again and again
We love NYC, though we do not live there. Il Cortile is one of the spots we hit every time we go. We love GOOD food--we have eaten at Nobu, Mesa Grill, and so on, and this is our favorite Italian restaurant. We have a lot to compare it to, as our humble city of Baltimore is famous for its own Little Italy. Get the lamb with pistachios......oh to die for. Leave room for dessert. Get the Pelligrino water. mangia!!!
