I was treated to dinner this past Friday night and was quite dissappointed. To begin, the restaurant was 3/4 empty i.e. summer weekend in NYC and our waiter was busy talking to the bartender versus waiting on our table. My wife asked for a wine list which never appeared so she ordered a glass of the house white. When the bill arrived, we were shocked that the glass of house white was $14.50!!!The food was moderate at best. Between the service and the food, I am hesitant to return. For the cost of the meal $100+ for two persons, I will be heading downtown to Gotham for the same price.

good food that takes advantage of seasonality; polite & courteous service even if a bit frenzied; wonderful space & most importantly, the tables are far enough apart that you can have a meaningful conversation with your dinner partner and not the people at the next table!

You can only really enjoy the restaurant if you are not from the tri-city area. (what ever that is!!)
