The second-most striking feature at this loud and bright Chinese restaurant is the fish tanks in the front, showcasing the live swimmers and walkers you're about to eat. In what is an otherwise bland Chinatown dining room, locals, purists and newbies will argue the finer points of dim sum -- is a dumpling worthy? Is tripe too much? Fried vs. steamed? And yet one thing remains clear: the long Cantonese-style menu has something for everyone, particularly if you love seafood. Fried oysters, long neck clams, salted prawns, giant lobsters -- it all comes from the same place. And even though the secret is out and the brunch crowd now includes uptowners and non-Chinese, it all leads you to understand that the most striking feature of this large hotspot hasn't changed in nearly 20 years: finely prepared fresh fish.

Children seated next to MOUSE!
By Wildcat862 on 01/02/2009
We read in Zagat guide that this was a good restaurant for Dim Sum and while the food and service were average, there was a mouse in the dinning area! Not only did the staff ignore the problem, as did the manager once we notified him, they actually seated a family with two small children at the same table that the mouse had been hiding under. They knew full well where they were seating the children much to our horror! Furthermore, they did not discount our food despite their obvious health code violation.
