The SceneInside, the restaurant feels almost tent-like. Entering the candle-filled space is like opening the doors on a gypsy hideaway.The FoodThe traditional and interpretive tapas throw a sharp focus on the definitive themes of Spanish cuisine. Few styles of cooking place such an importance on texture--baby eels in a sizzling slick of oil, for example, is nudged just a shade away from pasta by the crackle of tiny bones under your teeth. Garlic is another constant, with its fascinating range of application throughout a meal--from subtle background agent to aggressive palate-prickler.

not tapas
nothing to do with real tapas , which in Spain are really cheap , not the case here , small amounts , expensive , sangria too sweet , not real spainish at all .....( from a real spanish from Madrid )
Atrocious Host And Manager
The behavior by the manager and the host staff is atrocious! Maybe the owners are running this place as a folly, but most restauranteurs recognize that their patrons pay the bills. Skip this third rate Taqueria and hear over to The Union Square Cafe around the corner!

This is not Tapas. I'm not sure what it is, but it's not from Spain. And although the decor makes up for some of the food....it's just not enough to ever get me back in there again.

I think this restaurant is a great restaurant. Good food and friendly staff and management. I will definately come there again.
